Dont see the font file inside the folder

05/02/2011 à 16:46

Sorry probably is a dumb question.
When I download a font I dont see inside the folder the ttf font or any other installable font but just images, PDFs and txt files.
I am on WIN7

Thanks for any help

Which folder? 'the' can be anything.

Out of curiosity, why is it that you posters always strive to hide as much info as possible?

I chose a font here , download it. Then extract from the zip folder the contents.
Among the contents I find everything but the TTF file - or any other file I can install.

Usually only an image of the font.

I have used dafont for years with my MAC wituout troubles so I guess there si something i miss to know.

These are th fonts I tired to download lately in wich I have not found the TTF font:

planet_benson
boneca_de_pano
bones
graffiti

Any idea why this is happening?

They are all there.
The boneca_de_pano, bones, graffiti and graffiti_kenny only contain a font file. Planet benson also has a pdf and a html in the zip.

Remains the question, which folder?

hmm, we may have an issue here, as I get swamped with people asking me why the zip files they downloaded of my fonts are all empty. When I download the zip files, unzip them, they all have what should be there. In this case it seems to be Face Your Fears font and Nightbird font. I don't have a problem, but some people do.
Maybe it's the OS? I use a Mac.

Nope David. People nowdays seem to not to know what a zip is and how to handle it.

Awww Koeiekat you seem very smart but I dare totally wrong

I have learnt to handle ZIp files when you were still putting little balls of shit in your baby pants.

Keep smart Koe

Hi,
Sometimes we met problems between the font software that zipped the font and the one to unzip it. Which unzipping software are you using ? have you tried another one ?

That is amazingly clever, you handled zips before digital data processing existed!
