Whenever I read a PDF file online, this font is there. I'd like to know the name but I never found it nor could acknowledge the name in the PDF Adobe Reader for the font that shows in the software is another. It's so tricky- but the font is so simple. I just want to know the name. Can anybody please help?

The screenshot I've chosen is from "The Bad Beginning" PDF and I'm not sure if the font is the same for everyone, but still, I'd appreciate the help I can get.

THANK YOU! I feel so stupid for NOT knowing it was Times New Roman. I also did that, but it told me it was Calibri when it wasn't(?) but honestly, thank you! Thank you for taking your time for answering me!
