can anybody name this font

The main title of the movie uses letters that resemble this poster.
If you look at the opening credits that follow you can see the same notching effect.
The credits are an edited version of a heavy Windsor.
The letters in _BLAZING SADDLES_ have rounded tips similar to Windsor but do not otherwise match Windsor.
I suggest that this is NOT A FONT.
