Hi, looks like a stick font to me, the thickness comes with the diameter of the tool.
Which machine would you use ?

Good luck

cnc engraving machine, this font is so old i have to use a pentograph to manually engrave it out, but it will take me forever, its easier to have this font and put it thru a automatic engraver

Hi,
not exactly the same, (as said, strange J and strange N) but here is a font designed for CNC ;

Would that be ok ?

PS pour la modération : la moitié de mon message en #2 a été enlevée par un modo, je ne me vexe pas, et j'imagine que j'ai enfreint une règle en donnant un lien vers un site où sont ces fameuses polices, merci de me dire comment faire.
Cordialement

close but i cannot use it unless its the same font, its to match a existing job

It could be handmade, hard to find a corresponding font,

but what you can do is :
- put a pen instead of the tool,
- "draw" the letters on paper
- scan
- get vector (DXF format for each letter)(wintopo free would do the job)
- use vectors with your CNC.
(or - create your "own" font)

I am afraid that what you have shown never made it to the digital time. And with this image the best you can hope for is something similar. Would that be OK?

tchitchou thanks for that info, i not know you can do that.

my only other method is using http://www.myscriptfont.com/ use photoshop to trace out the photo and convert them into a font myself, but im not very good at photoshop

koeiekat what do you have similar?

Apart from the perspective irregularities the letters do not have consistent shapes. When making a slab-serif that inconsistency should be avoided. Look at the Stymie and/or the AauxOffice how it should be. That sort of similar I mean.
