I've gathered that the metro scenes were filmed in Mexico City's Insurgentes station, but the signs (in English) were props.
Any help is much appreciated.

That was my initial thought too, but the R in Eurostile curves downward more instead of kicking out like this one. The Ns appear the same, or very similar; the Y seems more stout than Eurostile. Maybe it's a modified Eurostile?

Sorry, you are right. Didn't look at the R. I have now tried perspective correction but there is not enough contrast to produce a workable image. Anyway, for me.
