Coamei is a geometric, contemporary sans-serif typeface built from simple shapes and balanced proportions. Its design aims for a clean, functional appearance while incorporating unique details that give it a distinct personality, preventing it from feeling overly neutral.

The second update occurred on August 26, 2022, adding an Extra Bold style and several additional special characters.
The third update, released on September 9, 2026, marked a new direction; all strokes were updated to a more professional, symmetrical, and mature style. This release also expanded accent support for multilingual use and added a SemiBold style.
