Really hoping someone can help me identify the font used?! (Or something VERY similar?)

The M is Illustrated Probably off this Font, this Looks Close enough to it

Well I would love if someone knew what it was EXACTLY, but what he suggested wasn't really even that close. (Though I do appreciate his effort.)

So I reiterate, if someone knows of something SIMILAR, then perfect.

In my opinion it doesn't.

Does anyone have anything useful to add? Perhaps another font suggestion?

I think this is probably as close as you can get. Probably add a bit of a stroke on the bold version to replicate the City of Melbourne font.

The font is a modified version of Arete Mono as seen in this styleguide pdf where they use the unmodified font.
Suggested font: Arete Mono
