Yes. I have seen it then different locations, all books.

No, all the letters of the alphabet and all the numbers, so I'm sure it's a font. I'm trying to find another example now...

No, the 4 came from a book in which numbers like this one were at the beginning of Chapters, and the first sentence of each chapter was the in the font of the text I gave you. That's not enough proof, but I'd say it's possible it's the same font, right?
