How do I fix old fonts from 1980's to 2011.
I have some really old font that need fixing and having a hard time matching and finding the fonts.
Strange they come up on the screen like they are suppose to.
Fontbook shows errors.
I have a iMac with OS 10.6.6

These are often omissions in the naming section.

The easiest way is to hand off the offending font files to someone who can edit existing fonts and fix the naming errors. A lot of the newer font-creation software will take care of some of this automatically.
