Chrysler Firepower fonts identification. Any help appreciated...

Hi all,

Wondering if someone could identify or point me in the direction of a similar font to the "Chrysler" script and the "Firepower" letters on this early Chrysler Firepower valve cover? Thanks in advance! :-)

for the lower case of _Chrysler_ you could substitute Permanent Waves. Closer match if the distance between letters is shortened.
Suggested font: Permanent Waves

Hi!

Thanks for the tip! Agreed, the lower case of Chrysler does have some similarities to the lower case of the Permanent Waves font. There would be some modification needed (the Chrysler has a more squarish profile to all the letters) but close. Thanks again.

Can't find a close match for _FirePower_
But you might be able to do something with Industry DemiItalic

Cool! I'm seeing some similarities in the lower case e's and r's, but would definitely need to fiddle around with it. The horizontal elements are thinner than the vertical on the original font and in general it has a more rounded appearance. Of course that could also be due to the fact that it is stamped on a piece of metal. Thanks again for all the help!
