Can you tell me what this font is for the word, "Toy", which is seen from the Toy Story logo? If you do, that would be great! Thanks!

Try Gill Sans Ultra Bold. It mimics both parts of the Toy Story logo.

It's Gill Sans Ultra Bold. And I'm not blind, koeiekat. So stop with the nasty comments, especially making jokes about blindness. It's not funny. It's extremely rude. I won't tolerate it.
I prefer using the free version of Gill Sans Ultrabold over the paid version.

I know you aren't blind Michael

You suck koeiekat. You even called me not smart

I absolutely agree with a Gills Sans Extra Bold and Ultra Bold combination. You only have to look at the DVD/Blu-ray covers and trailers to see that Gill Sans Ultra Bold is used extensively across the Toy Story series. The T and Y aren't exact matches but such small changes are common when designers render logotypes or wordmarks, either for aesthetic reasons or as a means of distinguishing their logo from similar designs/imitators.

That, conman, is true for STORY but certainly not for the 3. But that was not the question in this thread. This is about TOY and the /T and /Y have little to nothing to do with the Gill Sans, whatever face. For that /O there are many typefaces that are a better match than the Gill Sans. For example have a look at the RACE1 Brannt NCV.

@michaeljameskoebnick
There is no such thing as a free version of the Gill Sans. There are illegal downloads. But you would not want to do something illegal, would you? Nahh, when you have no money you might want to steal some glasses

Stop it koeiekat. You are being cruel and you are just looking for attention. So stop the bullying and back off. And yes there is such a thing as a free version of the Gill Sans. So stop questioning my knowledge. I have had enough of your comments and you are so mean. I can no longer tolerate such horrific comments. So stop, koeiekat. You don't have the knowledge that I have of these fonts. I have been able to identify a lot more fonts than you could possibly imagine. And no more of the glasses comments. I HAVE HAD IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO STOP IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM NOT KIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gosh ... thing is michaeljameskoebnick, you don't know shit. I have great doubts about your capability to see the difference between a Garamond and an Arial.
And, again, no. There is no such thing as a free version of the Gill Sans, whatever face. Yet you seem to be incapable to understand that. Why not ask your mom why you were giving birth with an empty scull? She disgusted gray matter maybe?

STOP IT! YOU ARE SO MEAN! YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO SPEAK NICELY, SO QUIT IT! AT LEAST THERE ARE OTHERS WHO BELIEVE ME, YOU LIAR, KOEIEKAT! YOU ARE DISGUSTING AND I WILL NOT TOLERATE YOU SPEAKING ABOUT ME OR ANYONE IN MY FAMILY LIKE THIS EVER AGAIN! IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN, I WILL CONTACT THE WEBMASTER AND HAVE YOU BANNED.

A GARAMOND FONT IS A SERIF FONT WHEREAS ARIAL IS SANS SERIF.

Here is proof that there really is a free version, because at least credit is given to the original creators of the font:

The 3 is from Gills Sans Extra Bold, as previously noted in the linked case. The original Toy Story logo was designed in 1995, long before Race1 Brannt NCV (2013) ever existed. There's absolutely no point in suggesting fonts that were not available at the time. The O from Gill Sans Ultra Bold is still a much closer match anyhow. T and Y were either completely custom made, modified from Gill Sans Extra Bold, or modified from another typeface available at the time (Futura Extra Bold for example). If you can find a closer match (actually available in 1995) by all means post about it.

Disney themselves seem to be quite happy using the fonts from the Gill Sans family for surrounding text on numerous Toy Story related items which is why I decided recommend them, regardless of any slight inconsistencies that other people seem to dwell on despite rational explanation.

Suggested font: Futura ExtraBold

I apologize conman, you are absolutely right. As shown in the image below the Gill Sans Extra Bold is definitely the perfect match for the 3.

Dec 18, 2014 at 19:09

@koeiekat That's some 5 star nitpicking. Well done.

Oh wait... Re-read the linked ID again. "T, Y, and 3 are ExtraBold with a little customization." I'm sure that won't be enough for you, despite it being the most likely scenario.

Be sure to let us all know when you find something closer. (ETA: Never)

Dec 18, 2014 at 19:20

Rest assured, if there were a match I would have posted that one long time ago. I did not. So ... yep.
Insisting it is the Gill Sans Extra Bold - or based on, except for STORY, is ridiculous.
