I recently installed OldNewspaperTypes on a new iMac running OSX 10.9 (Mavericks). Every time I type a return it adds a double quotation mark which seems to be part of the return itself. The font works fine on an older iMac running OSX 10.6.2. What's going on here?

Turn the Paragraph Markers OFF in Microsoft Word.

I should have said that I'm using the Apple "Pages" program on the iMac, not Microsoft Word. The bogus quotation mark shows regardless of whether "show invisibles" is turned on or off.
