Can you "fix" the "vertical spacing" (?) in these small 5x5 "pixel" fonts?

I've been trying to fix the following 2 fonts.

http://www.dafont.com/5x5-square.font

http://www.dafont.com/5x5-rounded.font

The problem with them is when you press "enter"
then there's too much empty space between the lines.

I've tried to edit it in fontforge
but when I load it I get a bunch of error messages
telling me that the mapping or encoding is wrong or something etc.
And after I save it windows 7 keeps telling me "not a valid font".

I also found the following.

http://www.dafont.com/5x5-pixel.font

The problem with this 1 is that it isn't separated by any lines at all.
I need it to be separated by 1 line.

When I open it in font forge I don't get any errors.
But if I save it in fontforge I get "invalid font type".

Here's some example pictures of what I'm talking about.

Help me, dafont. You're my only hope.

Well shoot. Pardonnez-moi.

Note of the author
Pixel font made by "Simple Font" software.

I guess it only works with "Simple Font" software on apple macintosh.

By the way what font editor software do you use?

Merci beaucoup for the response bro.

Thanks but I'm not really sure how to use the software.
I've never really made any fonts
or successfully worked with font software before.
