URGENTLY trying to contact font designer

Aug 22, 2013 at 16:33

Hello, if a TV production wishes to use one of the fonts on this website and the author isn't contactable via this website, please can you suggest how we contact them? It would really be appreciated if Allen R Walden can get in touch!!!

Brilliant you are a star! Thank you very much!

if he doesn't answer, his 5 fonts that can be found here are marked as free.
Usually it means that you can use them for free, even for commercial projects.
It's always better to ask before using a free font, but if he doens't answer...

You might be interested in knowing that the original designer of this font, named Quicksilver, is Dean Morris.

Many thanks for your replies. Oliver at Walden Font Co replied and said he wasn't Allen R Walden!

Thanks to those correcting the origin of this typeface.

The Flickr link has examples of it in use since its 1977 publication and a little about its history in the type trade set.

Please send me any sightings of new uses or of sites selling the typeface!

Just to set the record straight---on my pages I clearly state that Allen Walden and Walden Font Co (Oliver Weiss) are different.

On the other hand---mistakes do occur, and I am trying hard to be accurate.
