Telegrafico

May 09, 2013 at 03:39

Hello,
I have some problems with Telegrafico font that does not display proper characters on my web site.
After some research I found that this font does not support the special characters(šđčćž).
I rally like it and it fits the best, but need to fix this..

Is it possible to import special characters into the font file?
And is there another font that is similar to Telegrafico that supports special characters?

Thanks for any help in advance
Cheers

Yes, it's possible to transfert some letters from a font to another one, using a font editor software.

Thanks Menhir for your reply.
The fonts you sent me are very similar, but still they do not support the special symbols I want (ĆČŠĐŽ).
You see now why I have a problem Cant find anywhere similar font that supports the symbols.

Hello drf
Thank you for the links, they are quite useful.
It is not the perfect solution, but could work if I don't find anything else..

Can someone help me to insert the characters into the telegrafico font? Is it to complicated?

Hello alerte,

You're welcome. These fonts could be the best solution for you, since no modification is required

Technically, it's possible to add characters in a font. The only problem is that, normally, you're not "supposed" to do it. You could try to contact the author to ask him if he's willing to add the 5 characters you need.

Thanks for the advice, but do you know where to contact the author?
