I've sent a private message to a font author here asking about their licensing fees and have had no response and can see they haven't read the message yet. I've tried finding them through their linked website but the domain name is no longer registered so I'm a bit stuck.
With licensing fees for commercial use, is it typically a one-off payment or is it a subscription type situation?

Unfortunately, if they don't reply, there's not much you can do. You can choose another font. Or you can stick with your first idea. And if they ever complain, you can always bring up the fact that you tried to contact them.

Chapaza by Steve Gardener. On the font listing it says $5USD for commercial use but I don't know if that's a one time payment or not.
