Is the LAND to whom you refer?

If so I would say it could perhaps be hand-lettered by someone with some memory of Kalligraphia or a similar font based on writing with a pen nib using variable pressure. Note the the concave ends to the thicker strokes. This effect is not natural when writing with a pointed brush, which is the source of most high contrast scripts with tapered strokes.

Novelty Script is another font produced to mimic the same effect of writing with a pen nib using variable pressure

thanks for the reply, of the 4 fonts ive posted from LAND this is one of the ones i had the most doubt about, however the r's are the only thing that make me think it is...
while those suggestion are good I really dont see a big resemblance.
I'd settle for something similar to the blatz logo:

I agree there is little resemblance in the letter-forms. The resemblance is purely in the technique of variable pressure pen nib.
As for Blatz -- hand lettered like most beer labels, but could be the basis for a very dramatic font.
Somewhat similar fonts are sometimes tagged as Baseball or Beer.

BTW the price of beer at a Major League Baseball game is outrageous

Good find.
Seems like this could be the variable pressure pen source that the LAND people used to inspire their creation.
A little bit of this, a little bit of that, and PRESTO! a new logo
