Can't find a font, can someone create one?

Willing to pay for the creation of a font that mimics the handwriting one might find on old picture postcards, such as in the linked examples. Is there a process for this or should I just reach out to an author of something similar and ask? Thanks!

Jim, there are on-line a number of possibilities around to make a handwriting lookalike font. Why not draw one as you like and then use something as scanahand to get your font?

I thought about that, but I am artistically challenged; frankly, my handwriting and printing skills are embarrassing.

Well, you only have to draw something that sort of resembles a mix of what you have shown. When you can't ask one of the kids next door to do it for you. I bet they can
