Hey guys.

Just joined the forum as I was having a little trouble with something. I thought I'd go out of my comfort zone a little and design a brand for something pretty obscure. I decided on a Asian theme restaurant. But I'm having real difficulty find a decent font to use.

The ones which are 'Asian' themed are always really tacky, but it's very hard to get across the 'Asian' theme without using one.

Does anyone have any examples of branding such as this? Or perhaps any suggestions on how to get the Asian theme across in a different professional font?

"asian restaurant", what you mind ? Asian can be "chinese", "japanese", "indian", "thaļ", "indonesian", etc.
For each one, le look muste be different.
Can you give more precision about this "asian" ?

I was going for more chinese, more 'noodles' etc...

Any ideas?

It's depending of the style of you restaurant. It' will not be the same style for a noodle shop or for a hight class restaurant.

An other idea : shearch on internet (google is your frend) the logo of chinese restaurants site. When you look on that you like, come back here to identifi the font.
