You have amazed me many, many times Claude but this beats me ... Caslon, no way ... the Q ... what is happening ... ?

Il ne donne pas de nom dans le catalogue de Caslon.

But, Claude, that is the Baskerville Old Face. Condense it at 90% and then make small caps at about 85% and you are almost there, except for the irregularities of type those days. You came up with the correct answer in the first place, had the OP be clear about what he (she?) wanted.

Cette police semble être très proche, mais pourquoi celle là et pas une autre de Baskerville ?

Because not all Baskervilles are created equal. Old Face I said.

Je suis d'accord ce n'est pas du Caslon.

Je ne parle pas le nom de la font mais celui qui la faite.

Which shows that Caslon made a Baskerville variation that in now known as the Old Face. Still your game You spotted the Q which I missed.

Baskerville Old Face D
Baskerville Old Face SC D

If you can not see the differences you have a problem. For sure.

04/03/2015 a las 10:46

Hi,

Sorry but the differences are not very simple, but thanks for your answer.

Have you an idea on typologie ?

04/03/2015 a las 10:53

How come I see what you don't see?
I see a regular, a small caps, a raised small caps and a rounded.

04/03/2015 a las 11:47

Yes in deed, but if you write my texte the difference it's not very important.

04/03/2015 a las 12:01

The font in your sample is the smalll caps.

04/03/2015 a las 12:18

Thanks

Now I will find the number. An idea maybe

05/03/2015 a las 14:25

Personne n'a une idée sur la typo des chiffres

05/03/2015 a las 14:35

I am afraid the numbers are not one and the same font.
