Hi! I really love this font. How can I reach the author? e-mail?

i love this font but... im having a little problem.

while using indesign and typing the letters "f" and "i" next to each other, they disappear. for instance, the word five shows up as ve and the word figure shows up as gure!

anyone have any ideas on why this is happening?
