For those of you looking for a commercial version: Paul Lloyd has allowed me to rework his fonts and offer them with a (very generous) commercial license.
So if you need a professional quality Unicode OpenType or TrueType version of this font with a multilingual and expanded character set - you will find it here:
(Paul Lloyd receives royalties from all sales)
Can this font be used for commercial use? I have tried to contact you on your website but the email address would not work.
I wrote mr. Lloyd at his old email addy back in 2007 for permission to use his fonts, I believe that it was through some type of university email mail addy (his), and as I recall - I believe that he gave me his permission to do so.
I can't imagine him putting out a font that is free for commercial use - yet giving exclusive rights to "Mr. Nelsson" to control the licensing of his original font sets.
I assume that "Mr. Nelsson" is aluding to HIS VERSIONS of those fonts. Then again - I don't believe that I have ever discovered a Lloyd font that actually had a clear, clean cut license description attatched to it.
I would advise all type designers to please be fair and conscientious - and to include a comprehensively outlined license description with your font distributions stating clearly what users can and cannot do with your fonts please, and no more "READ ME" files saying nothing more than
something akin to "Here's my font - enjoy using it!" PLEASE!
Interesting, Bill. And wise words. I have a logo that uses a character from this font set. This all makes me a little concerned about obtaining permission to use it. Hm....
Hey, thanks for the font. I used it for a bake sale poster I made for our recreation club at work and it was perfect!
How can I get the commercial license??
