I know this font is "New Garden" but does anyone know a similar font that doesn't have the leafy garden thing on the letter N etc ??

Ahh apologies. Arrière Garde comes to mind immediately although there are some major differences (b's and r's are most obvious examples), if I happen upon a closer fit I'll be sure to post it.
