This may be an exclusive font developed and paid for by Nintendo for their use only.

There are a few out there that are similar - such as:
On Dafont - http://www.dafont.com/sf-automaton.font?text=NINTENDO+ENTERTAINMENT+SYSTEM
and if you can find it (because they aren't selling it anymore) Letterhead made a font named LHF Ortlieb
