I'm not sure if we can post links in the forum but these are relevant for the post to make sense. But long story short, up until recently a free font site deleted my entire catalog of fonts.. Two of my fonts were in the top 10 of most downloaded fonts. I have no idea what I did to the webmaster of the site, I don't know him personally so that level of hate is very worrisome and creeps me the hell out. And I'm no expert when it comes to legal matters, but I know full well deleting users content (fonts) for no valid reason is illegal, it falls under discrimination and serious things like that. And keep in mind the webmaster of the site published many of them himself, and it was he who contacted me asking if he could publish my fonts on his website. But anyways the links below I find amusing considering. And just for the record I will be speaking to an attorney about this matter next week.. If dafont did the same, I think I would literally have to stop creating fonts. As a font designer, we have to rely on them for traffic for commercial license sales.

I guess the real point to this post is, if it can happen to me it can happen to anybody! But know, this sort of thing should not be happening, it is illegal to be singled out and mistreated. And I believe my fellow designers have a right to be aware of what is happening to some of us. It is so disappointing to say the least.

If you want to post links in the dafont forum, manually type the html tags before and after the url of your page or image link.

For a page link, type left bracket, ([), type url, then type right bracket, (]). Copy the url for the page you want to link, then repeat the html tag with a forward slash, (/), before url.

To post an image, use the same procedure, but type img instead of url. You can also format text as bold, italic or underlined by replacing url or img with B, I or U.
