Help - Finding an old font
Hello, is there a way to find or identify an old font? A graphic designer created a logo for me using a font from DaFont, unfortunately AI on other sites have not helped to identify it. Can someone help please? Thanks.
Hello.
You should try the font identification forum
https://www.dafont.com/forum/?f=1 Just a heads up: if you haven't paid for your logo's copyright (that's usually quite expensive), the logo designer keeps the copy (and author's) rights. So when you find the font, you're still not allowed to change your logo without getting consent from the original designer, which usually comes with an invoice for those rights. If you do so without their consent, keep in mind that they can sue you, and a judge can make you pay the original designer for whatever you've made or had printed with your altered logo, AND have you destroy all of it as well.
Go back to your designer and ask them for help, not us.
Wow, that escalated quickly.
Who said OP wants to modify the logo?
OP just wants to know the font used on their logo.
Maybe OP wants to create their website, business cards,... using this font.
