These numbers were used in the t-shirts of Italy, Germany and Argentina, in the world of Italy 90

Vorgeschlagener Font: Libero
The sports numbers from Italy 1990 are presumably pre-digital.
Given that they were used on T-shirts of the German team they are perhaps the source used by the creator of Libero, a German font maker.
The only noticeable design differences are the serifs on _4_ and _7_.
It would be interesting to find out who originally designed the letters.
Perhaps created in contact/press on format, a process used by Letraset and other font makers of the late pre-digital era.
