Baki's info is correct about the existence of a custom Fraktur for the NYT designed by Matthew Carter [in 1995] but it is called NYT Fraktur Six and is derived from the newspaper's nameplate rather than being identical.
No font available to the public is a match to the nameplate, but Temporal is similar. Differences include: rough edges, arrowhead instead of lozenge ornament on the vertical bar of _T_, flourishes different on _h_ lower rhs, _N_ and_Y_.
