Hi, can anyone identify the font(s) used on this speedometer dial?

Chhers, Dave.

Maybe not ... but still nice

thanks for reply. Don't understand 'probably not a font'

Define 'probably'
Define 'not'
Define 'a'
Define 'font'

Done? Got it?

you probably have big feet, a red nose and bright red hair. Clown

Why you do not reproduce the font ?

17.10.2015 um 21:39

thank you claudeserieux for a sensible reply. I have no idea of how to reproduce the font. if I could I'd give it a try. Just foun a font called Eunoia that is very similar.

When a native English speaking person can not understand a phrase as "probably not a font" it needs a brain transplant as it has not passed the 3 intelligence quotient level.

koeiekat you really need an agent instead of handling yourself.

17.10.2015 um 21:48

thanks Yaprak will probably use that as the dials don't have a font on them. So I've been told.

As said, you really need a brain transplant. Really? Desperately.

koeiekat you the resident troll?

A brilliant example of correct grammar.

If you are interested in approximations for your vintage speedometer, then Eunoia would indeed be a candidate.
If I had to pick a substitute, I would go with Spire, created by Sol Hess in 1938. The speedometer numbers are hiding inside and could be revealed with minor editing. If you can't edit a font, Spire Regular still has the same vibe as your speedometer numbers.

donshottype, had looked Spire also and looking again at Eunoia I'll go with that as it is very close.

If I had to find a substitute - that had the same feeling, I think I'd choose Britannic - it was the S that gave me the feeling...

NOT THE FONT... just another similar to --

also Cotoris

or the good old stand by of Optima

Again NONE ARE THE FONT

I had treated the numbers as a separate issue from the word _MILES_ but I can see some argument for fonts that have the matching word, which are well represented by the selection suggested by Heron2001.
