What's the font in this? It's like a mix of fancy and typewriter! I can't find it.

Seems to be variation in letters, esp. _f_ and _r_, which would suggest hand lettering.
But it looks like the kind of lettering that someone like Nick Curtis might have made into a font in his earlier years.

For a substitute you might consider The Good Bad Man
Different letterforms but the same flavor of silent films from a century ago.

Do you have the name of the movie from which the intertitle card was taken?
