For those of you looking for an improved version with more/better accents etc: Ray Larabie has allowed me to rework his fonts and offer them with a (very generous) commercial license.
So if you need a professional quality Unicode OpenType or TrueType version of this font with a multilingual and expanded character set - you will find it here:

I would like to use this font commercially in my graphic design prints for weddings. The font would be used for names etc. Please contact me for licensing / permission to use font etc.
Thanks!
wernerandhooch@gmail.comIt's no problem: Steelfish is free for commercial use.
Hello, I really like this font and would like to use it on the graphics in an app currently developing. Is it covered under commercial license already? Please let me know if there's other license required. Thank you!
Thanks, I'm glad you like it. If you're generating graphics for your app using the font, the free license covers it. If you embed the font data into your app, it requires an app license.

Good luck with your app!

Hi.
I'm having a problem when I print Steelfish. So far anything below 24 pt turns out crazily. Particularly capitial S's. I see it's free for commercial use, but is there something else I need to do? I'm printing from InDesign, exporting to a PDF, nothing seems to work.
That is very odd. Maybe try the OpenType format. Go to typodermicfonts.com, search for Steelfish. Follow the link, add the free fonts to your cart, then you'll get the OTF at no charge. If it doesn't work, contact me through my site and I'll help.
Hi,
I'm having the same problem. I'm printing from InDesign, exporting to a PDF. Letters with problems are capital S's and V's, small a, s and numbers 2 and 3.
I just need it for my curriculum vitae! I like steelfish very much.
Can you help me, please? thank's
Seems to be a problem with exporting the TTF version in InDesign. If you try the Opentype version as per my last suggestion, please come back and let me/everyone know if it worked or not.
hi! if i wanna use this font for commercial web site, should i purchase a different license?

Hey there, I really like your font and I would like to use it for a logo design which will be on print media and also on the website. Do i need an extra license or is it included in commercial use? Because the company wants to stay as free as possible.
A quick answer here or via email would be great. :)
