Copilme Font - by Ixipcalli.com
Copilme is the first typeface created by Ixipcalli, a pioneer in typographic studies. Its name derives from the Nahuatl words "copilli" (headdress/crown) and the plural suffix "meh," meaning "headdresses" or "crowns."
It features an informal design with rounded serifs. Initially, it consisted of only a single weight (Regular), with Light and Bold versions added later. On September 7, 2022, character spacing was adjusted, and additional accent marks, characters, and italic styles were introduced to create a more comprehensive family suitable for body text, headlines, or graphic elements. It has been used in banners, flyers, logos, and informal text.
August 12, 2025: Update replacing the standard lowercase "a" with the italic-style "a" to improve its visual appearance in written text.
September 1, 2026: Version 4.0 update. All characters were redesigned regarding angles and proportions to achieve a more symmetrical visual appearance. Accent marks were added to support multilingual use, and a "Heavy" weight was introduced. Additionally, the Greek-style "a" was restored as an alternative option.
