Looking for the font used in the Super Mario Bros 3 text. I get the feeling it may be a standard font.

Hello, Steven.
You Do not Need The Specific Font.
Instead, You Can Recreate It.
Use The Font "Chanson Heavy SF"
And Pick the Color Red, Write The Thing you Want to Write, Then, Take The Color Blue, And Write The Same Thing You Wrote In Red.
Now, Just Drag the Blue Font Over The Red Font,(Almost Exactly) And There You Go! You Got Your Own Mario 3 Font.
(Note: Chanson Heavy SF For Me Was In Paint.NET)

Custom logotype based mainly on the Futura family of typefaces. The 'M' and the '3' are possibly based on Gill Sans - but both could have been created from scratch. You'll never get an exact match as the type has been distorted/redrawn to fit the specific perspective without compromising legibility.
