Jamie grew up in the small town of Brigham City, UT, with not much to do but throw rocks at fellow neighborhood children and scribble on blank surfaces with anything that made a mark. She sporadically attended elementary and then highschool in the small rural community until she decided to try her hand at Graphic Design in college. After two years, she decided such a degree wasn't for her, and moved on to Animation with an Emphasis in Electronic Arts Engineering (e.g. videogame animation) in hopes to use this degree to springboard her into the field of conceptual design, which has always been a childhood dream for her. She is the author of dafont.com's fonts entitled "Selfish Bitch" and "Sundays are Boring." She hopes to create more fonts in the future, when time allows, as she finds typography is still her favorite thing she learned from Graphic Design.
