wooden typeface font with differing pressure.

21/12/2012 alle 19:08

I have several " old typewriter fonts and some of the letters when printing are not uniform, say the "e" is out of line etc.

Is it possible to get a wooden typeface font which gives the impression [ no pun intended], that some letters have been applied using different pressure. So that some look like they are over/under inked?

Thanks.

Hm...do you mean that letters are "skinnier" than others? Or that others are gray and others black? (If the latter, just edit the color of some letters with whatever software you are using.)

Same size fonts, but as you say some with different shades of black.

However your tip about using software to change shade is a good one.

Just FYI, fond creation software can't currently create fonts in anything but black and white. Software can set fonts into any color you want. Do you know how to do that?

AS long as it is simple!

Yes.

I think I'll use the word "distressed" when looking for the fonts.

Thank you.

I have found several that I like 9 using " distressed" from:

Thanks again to all for your suggestions and help.

Pity that Ryan Martinson didn't use an original type design for the Veneer.

I just stumbled on this old thread and had to speak up. Koeiekat...actually it is an original type design.

What did you think it was based on, koeiekat?
