heavily compressed? I only have the track name logos which are really small. that's why i'm after the font :P

Then make a better scan including R, E and W. High resolution, grayscale and save as png. That might help.

I just got the track logos from The Civil Wars iTunes LP and they are really small that's why I want the font.

Slightly indeed. Very slightly indeed. The R and S tells the New Yorker Type. The E forbids the New Yorker Type. And a lot of other details too. So the only thing that might help is a better scan, see above.

That may very well be true Jackie but that Fox Trot only has a lookalike R
