It looks like the old Typositor face named Hess Neo Bold - I believe we use to have lower case for it...

IIRC the caps were by Sol Hess for Linotype circa 1934

The image is the logo for a new anime series -- a crime drama set during the prohibition, which follows the protagonist Avilio seeking revenge for the death of his family.

Looks like the logo maker found the lower case, or made some letters from a "gas pipe" font.

Does anyone have a specimen of a lower case for Hess Neobold?
