Tu cherches la complexité.
La plupart des polices attachées sont des scripts et ce n'est vraiment pas le plus simple à découper.
Le mieux est sans doute de tenter ta chance en cherchant dans le thème

Pour mieux gérer le temps, peut-être pourrais-tu leur proposer de réaliser une polices de symboles : dingbats, personnages ou autres (voir les thèmes "Symboles" de DaFont pour donner des idée).

Ainsi, ils ne sont pas tenus de faire au moins 26 lettre pour avoir quelque chose d'utilisable.
Ca permet à chacun d'avancer à son rythme et de terminer, de toute façon, avec quelque chose d'utilisable.

En plus, le "thème" choisi offre beaucoup plus de possibilités de choix pour l'élève et permet sans doute de choisir quelque chose de plus "fun" pour lui.

The writing format of the year start with the millenium, followed by the century, followed by the decade, followed by the year.
From longest to shortest.
So, the most logical is to follow with the mounth followed by the day.

But I don't know land that have this format in its tradition.

I'm french and in the forum (with the french speaking version of the site), I look the dates with the french format DD/MM/YY.
Perhaps this format is specific of the english version of the site, that is meanly visited by US people.

Maybe the creator don't want to continu the activity of sealing font.
If you haven't answer afetr your e-mail, the best for you will be to choice of another font.

I don't understand : for me, "nice and varied" is not realy compatible with "vintage / letterpress feel".

@ malvolio : the version on DaFont is a demon version. To have the complet version and use it commercialy, xchubzx have to contact the author (if he can) and pay $5.

If it's only for one letter, it's easier to use a bitmap (or vectorial) image.

It's a 12 years old font. Perhaps the designer changed hes activity.
