This is not possible to include this effect in a font format.
It's done with a graphics software (parhaps PhotoShop or something like this).

Identified font: Futura

The two "z" are different.
It's probably not a font.

Don't use the JPG format to save a "lined" image. JPG use a destructive compression to save space ans modifie the image.
For pictures, it's almost invisible (with à less compression rate) but for "lined" image, it's horrible.
Use preferably PNG (or TIF) format.

not to mention being Windows.

Even Linuxians have all at least one friend using Windows that can provide a standard font.

The font with one of the best legibility is Verdana (standard Windows).
Try it.

Most logos are copyrighted AND trademarked. So, it's not possible to use it without the agreement of the mark.
But many marks are lenient because they consider it advertising.
This is the difference between the law and usage.

Super Duty Sharp Heavy is a commercial font.
If you want it, you have to pay it.
If you want a free font, choose an otherone.

leafdancer said
I don't think that is the issue. I want less "leading" - which as I understand it is the vertical spacing automatically added by the font to separate lines from each other.

To compress verticaly or to extend horizontaly, it's the same. It's juste to change the ratio of the letters.
The difference is juste a question of size. You get an extended font, you reduce the size (Excel can change the font size) and it will look like a vertical compressed font.

So, it's easier to look for an extended fond (it exist many) to solve your problem.
Use the option "Show variant" for the search on DaFont.
