I might get to design something for a new clothing brand focusing on ultra expensive high end market.
I'm looking for a font that looks modern and stylish, fashionable and expensive.
Any tips on which fonts to try would be really appreciated.

I run a sompany called TTS Appearel. I'm no where on the web yet. but this is a font you could try. I'm more of a punk sort of company and I usualy use AstroDramatic...But this is good for fancy $500 clothing
Here I have a commercial one:
Sympathique I'm not fancy. I'm just trying to help. wheres your suggested font daaams? I didn't see one. Atleast i'm trying!
See Taylor, for modern and stylish, fashionable and expensive most point to Geometric SansSerif types, as used by most fashion houses in the top of the bill segment. A common handwriting, imho, does not fit that world.

i didn't see Taylor's post.
Koeiekat summed up my thoughts... but i'll add some serif types to the SansSerif list
Sorry didn't mean to jump to conclusions.
A font looking "expensive" ???
I don't know what can be a "look expensive" for a font...
stylish :
http://www.dafont.com/riesling.font?fpp=50&af=on Using a free font (for such a commercial project) will probably not help your brand look expensive. Anyone recognizing you using the cheapest possible solution will not be impressed
As koeiekat suggested: you should probably go for a geometric sans - I'd also suggest a light weight and plenty of extra spacing
Wow, my first post here and loads of great answers and suggestions.
Thanks everyone. I'll go and try these out now...
@roger: i do not agree with you. There are some great AND free fonts such as Museo, Yanone Kafeezatz, Kontrapunkt, ...
@Colicoid : a few collection here:

http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2010/12/17/25-new-free-high-quality-fonts-typography/ @vinz: I'm not saying there are no quality free fonts.
I'm just saying that they will probably be so much used that they will not give that "exclusive" feeling. Not too "ultra expensive high end" when your design looks similar to thousands of teenage girls blogs because they are based on the same free fonts...
