What to do in the case of no author listed next to the font name?
BLADES (one of 10 versions) has no author listed.
How to I go about obtaining permission for commercial use?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Then you have to look in the font properties. You may find some info there.

Where might I find properties?

Right click > properties. As usual ...

Thank you... Mac girl, so I hardly ever right/left click.

Got there though... no info at all on permissions, artist, owner etc...
Dafonts.com says they "provide no ownership info at all."

Thank you for trying.

Artist must not care that much...

I have searched all over for him/her.

OK, apples don't dig so I did it for you. There is no info in the font at all except that it is 1992. Then, and still, amateur font designers did not bother or did not understand how to claim their copyright or did not care. In a case like this you've tried your best but can not trace. So feel free.

One question though, just out of curiosity, why the heck would you want to use trash like that?

Hilarious.
I DID control click and had found that info already.
But I very much appreciate you taking your time.
All other Blades fonts ( which I do NOT care for, I agree) do have authors.
But the Blades (with no artist listed) is the one I love and is perfect for ONE line in ONE children's story I am self publishing.
If you saw it, I am sure you would agree.
But you are funny.
All this trouble for one line!
Yikes.
(Only 12 more fonts to go.)
Thank you!
