Hello. I'm currently facing confusion: can I use fonts for my artwork? For example, if I download a font (or typeface) amd then redraw it with hand, is it violating the law, or is it completely legal?

It's a question of law and the law is different in each country.

For exemple, in France, it's impossible to modify an artwork without the permission of the author.

I see. Then what about fonts in this site? Also, if I combine fonts in an artwork, is it considered modifying the font?

To avoid any problem, use public domain fonts only.
