Im raelly hoping someone can help. We are using the Margarosa font in our new branding, however when I create a graphic in Powerpoint and save it as an image file (jpeg, gif or png) it is cutting off the top part of some of the characters and I dont know why?

Margarosa is bad.

Try double spacing!

If you just want to create an image, don't use Powerpoint but a graphic editor like PaintShop, PhotoShop, GIMP, etc.

Laurafyp - email me at jaynz at pixelsagas dot com with a copy of the font file you're using and I'll fix it for you. It's just a matter of redoing a couple of the font settings. (Yes, the owner of the font should do this himself, but you'd be surprised at how many fonts are on here that have their ascenders set badly.)

Wow, okay, looking at this font, it needs a LOT of work - lots of errors, bad shapes, wrong settings, all over the place. I honestly don't know DaFont let this one be approved. I can fix this one, Laurafyp, but you may be better off scrapping it and going to another one.

First scale down to maximum 40%. Move all to the correct baseline position. Set the bearings and other metrics correctly. Then correct this:
