Maybe my definition of webfonts is different. I then think of css embedding like @font-face and so...

@kat : web2.0 fonts mean fonts that have the look & feel of the web2.0 trends
more explantion on what is "web2.0" : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web2.0

the fontsquirrel thing is typically what can be called a "web2.0" app. It's an online generating tool.
In the fonts quoted by unqbogan, it's only a question of style (like these logos : http://fr.techcrunch.com/2007/08/21/5000-logos-web20-en-5-min/)
