How to package all faces of a font into one family file (Mac)

Aug 06, 2013 at 13:37

Hello, when installing fonts, some come with a lot of alternatives for the same font. Sometimes when I install those alternatives they are automatically placed in the same folder, sometimes not. When they are not installed in the same font folder, it means I have the equivalent number of font one under the other in the dropdown menu of the software I use (Illustrator for example). How to get those fonts installed in the same folder? Do you know? Thanks. [I use a MAC]

If you're talking about something like that : http://www.dafont.com/fr/forum/read/72478/building-style-names-in-fontlab

It depends on the font, so as far as I know, I'm not sure you can "force" them to be displayed as you wish.
