Celtic Eels

Its a shame these fonts never seem to have punctuation or any of the numbers or shift characters. How awesome would it to be able to use an icon like this for an @ symbol?

Granted, these types of letters were normally used for the first letter upon an illuminated manuscript (illustrated text), but if we're going to use these things for modern applications, then why shouldn't we be able to modernize our use of the font itself?
