Late, I know, but you may like the Grantham Light. However, the 3 and the 5 should be on the baseline. See Alphabets Old And New For The Use Of Craftsmen by Lewis Foreman Day (1910), illustration #128.

That is one of the handicaps of Scan-a-Hand and all the tools based on it like myscriptfont. Those applications always generate white space on the left and right of the letters (this white space is called bearings). When the software you are using has the possibility to narrow the space between the letters (negative kerning is the expression) you may still be able to use your script as you want. If not, you have two possibilities; or you use a font editor to set both left and right bearings to a (small) negative number so that the letters will always overlap a little. I have never tried it but the free program Type Light might do it for you. If not ask someone here to help you.
