Hi I am considering starting up a small skate clothing brand, and I am new to Da Font and was wondering are there any fonts on this site I can use to distribute on t shirts? Caps? Rucksacks?

No, you can not. Unless it is stated that the font is "Free". Which is something totally different from "Free for personal use", which means private, non commercial use. The use you suggest is commercial use.

So if it says free next to it I can use it commercially and distribute it within a logo ?

Chris, if you want to make sure 100% write to the desiger of the font. If you can, they will let you know. If you can't they let you know what they would charge for you to do so. And it is normally a modest charge for the amount of time and effort they put into designing and making a font.
