daniela, Google translate makes a mess of this. Can you repost in English?
Yes, I'll try, I don't speak english well so..sorry for my traslation but I hope It is better than google
How could I know if one font has the cid codification? I have to prepare a file, I can't convert the text in path (sorry I don't know as I could traslate it) and I have to use only Font type 1 and without cid codification. But I don't know where I could find this information about the font I'm using. And I can't proceed by trial and error...
I hope you can help me,
many thanks again
daniela
I found the CID code, the postscript cid findfont name, can be found in the font's extended properties.
I don't know much, if not nothing, about postscript fonts. I never made one. But did you try this?
https://www.google.es/search?q=postscript+cid+findfont+name&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b&gfe_rd=cr&ei=IuwRWK7aCNLA8gf3vIUw Thanks a lot, later I'll see your link!
It's a very unknown world!
I'll try to find the extended properties of the font ... finger cross!
Have a good day and many thanks again
