1920s style font with lowercase

25/03/2016 a las 19:30

Hi everybody!

I'm trying to find a 1920s style font that's fairly consistent, but offers lowercase letters. I keep finding things that are close but not quite right, and I'm hoping some of the experts here can help me find a middle ground!

NiteClub is really close to the mark, but even the "lowercase" letters are still uppercase, just smaller.
Riesling is also really close and has lowercase letters, but has unexpected swooshing for, for example, the lowercase g and s. I'd like something that's a little more consistent in its lettering.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!!

There is no such thing as a 1920's typography style. As typography concerns many styles were developed, still famous serifs and sans serifs came to us together with types with art nouveau and somewhat later art deco styles. So, be somewhat more precise what you are actually looking for. That might help.

Sure, koeiekat

I don't have the vocabulary to help, but hopefully examples will do.

Here's NiteClub: http://www.dafont.com/nite-club.font

I think I'll probably going with a variation of University Roman: http://www.identifont.com/show?XB

But I'm open to other suggestions!
